Role Overview
As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites for clients across different industries. You will collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, and project managers to deliver high-quality websites that perform well and meet client requirements.
You should be comfortable working with themes, plugins, custom functionality, and performance optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
• Building WordPress websites from design files
• Customising themes and plugins
• Developing responsive and mobile-friendly layouts
• Implementing SEO-friendly structure
• Optimising website speed and performance
• Fixing bugs and technical issues
• Integrating third-party tools and APIs
• Setting up WooCommerce stores when required
• Maintaining and updating existing websites
Requirements
• Experience with WordPress development
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
• Understanding of responsive design
• Experience with WooCommerce (preferred)
• Knowledge of website performance optimisation
• Familiarity with SEO best practices
